Meet Kowalski!
Kowalski is a wonderful all-around guy who knows how to enjoy the best of both worlds. He's affectionate, social, and playful when it's time for fun, but he's equally happy curling up on the couch or hanging out in his crate. His former family says he loved being wherever his people were, and this handsome boy is ready to find his way back to a home of his own.
My Ideal Home
Kowalski would love a home where he can enjoy his favorite things: daily walks, playtime, cuddles, and plenty of quality time with his people. He's used to going for one or two walks a day, pulls only mildly, and already knows some commands and listens well. He'll happily join you for an adventure, then settle in for some serious couch potato time afterward.
Good with Other Pets?
Kowalski's history with other dogs is limited, but he showed no response to dogs while walking at the care center. Any introductions with resident pets should still be slow and thoughtful so everyone has a chance to get comfortable.
Good with Kids?
Kowalski would do best with older children who can give him respectful space around his favorite things. He has shown some mild possessiveness with toys, so his family should focus on positive, reward-based training and let him enjoy his special treasures without pressure.
Things to Know
Kowalski is a loose leash walker and a very affectionate boy who happily leans into pets. He can get a little overexcited during interactions, but he's wonderfully responsive to his handler and quickly settles when redirected. His former family also noted that sudden loud noises can make him nervous, so a predictable home and a little reassurance will help him feel confident. Kowalski is ready to report for his next mission: finding his forever family!
