Tom Nook doesn't have a tragic story, he isn't coming from a place of neglect, abuse or instability - he's simply a senioresque boy waiting on a forever home.

Tom Nook is a 9 year old, mid sized biy with a soulful temperament. He is a wellrounded gent who is able to build instantaneous bonds with everyone he meets. Tom is a docile, welcoming, wiggly boy with a never ending wagging tail.

Tom's indooor and outdoor needs are extremely low maintenance. Indoors Tom not only moonlights as the tug of war reigning champ however his house manners are impeccable. Tom has absolutely no stranger danger and seems to quite enjoy meeting new strange people in his home. Tom is also a guy who understands that humans have responsibilities outside of him and somtimes that means he needs to spend the work day alone and he's perfectly fine with that. Tom is also fully housebroken, non destructive and overall you'll really see his go with the flow personality in the home - especially if you let him manipulate you into a game of fetch or into proviidng him endless pets.

Outdoors, Tom enjoys walks where he can take in all the outdoorsy smells and would never protest a wooded hike or a grassy field. Tom is unbothered by the sights and sounds of city life as a native New Yorker and would still absolutely not complain if he was adopted to a home in a quieter neighborhood. On walks Tom's default behavior is looking at his handler and crossing the streets if dogs get too close to him which seems to be the only situation that makes Tom a bit anxious.

Tom is turnkey ready for any home, including those with children given how absolutely gentle, loving and affectionate he is. Tom is a well rounded, stable, easygoing dog to care for who exudes softness.If you are looking for a low key companion to spend the next few years building memories in a shared space full of love - then I hope you know that Tom is looking for you too.
