Meet Diamond Diva!
Diamond Diva was found as a stray, and this lovely lady is ready to shine in a home of her own! She can be a little reserved when meeting new people, but she enjoys checking things out, sniffing around, and accepting tasty treats. Once she warms up, she's happy to stick nearby and enjoy some gentle attention. This girl has star quality, and she's ready to find a family who will treat her like the gem she is!
My Ideal Home
Diamond Diva would love a home where she can enjoy daily walks, sniff out new adventures, and spend quality time with her favorite people. She's a nice walking companion who follows along with a relaxed body and only mild pulling. Food puzzles, long lasting chews, and fun games will give her plenty of ways to stay busy and keep her mind engaged.
Good with Other Pets?
Diamond Diva's history with other animals is unknown since she came to us as a stray. She showed no reaction to other dogs while walking at ACC, but any introductions with resident pets should still be slow and thoughtful to help everyone get comfortable.
Good with Kids?
Diamond Diva would do best in a home without young children while she builds confidence and gets comfortable with new experiences. She can be a little unsure at times and may use her mouth when she's feeling overwhelmed, so she'll appreciate a family who can give her space and help her feel safe.
Things to Know
Diamond Diva accepts gentle handling and is happy to approach new things with a little encouragement. She enjoys sniffing around and checking in with people, and she follows along nicely on walks. We're still learning about her life outside the shelter, so a patient adopter who can provide a predictable routine, positive reinforcement, and plenty of enrichment will help her settle in. Every diva deserves her moment to shine, and Diamond Diva is ready to find her people!
A Volunteer Wrote: Whether or not you consider yourself woo-woo, there is no arguing that Diamond Diva has very good energy. While she sat calmly on a park bench with me, leaning in for pets and watching other dogs go by with friendly disinterest (it's possible-we saw it!), passersby said versions of, "That's a beautiful dog!" Diamond, who's a delight on the beach, brings happiness just by being out in the world, and we are so hoping she's out there for good soon!
