Dolly is a 5-year-old mixed breed who weighs around 41 lbs and is an incredibly sweet, easy dog at home. Once she feels comfortable with her people, she’s affectionate, relaxed, and very happy just being near you. Sometimes, when crate time is over, she chooses to stay tucked inside with the door open. Other times, she’ll come find you, try to sit in your lap, or gently paw and nuzzle for more pets.

She’s house-trained, crate-trained, and settles beautifully indoors, making her a really lovely companion in the home. The bigger adjustment for Dolly is the outside world. She’s newly arrived in NYC, and all the noise, movement, and unfamiliar surroundings understandably feel scary right now.

Dolly will need patiendadopters who are committed to helping her build confidence without rushing her, giving her the time and space she needs to adjust at her own pace.
