Meet Yenlee!
Yenlee was found abandoned at a Brooklyn train station with a sign beside her that read "be my pal." Well, whoever wrote that sign knew exactly what they were talking about, because Yenlee is a wonderful companion waiting to find her person! This sweet, social girl loves greeting people, happily accepts treats, and enjoys being close to her human friends. She's already showing us what a lovely pal she can be, and now she's ready for someone to give her the forever home she deserves.
My Ideal Home
Yenlee would love a home where she can enjoy leisurely walks, quality time with her people, and plenty of opportunities to explore. She walks beautifully on a loose leash and is happy to follow along wherever the day takes her. Food puzzles, long lasting chews, and fun enrichment games will give her enjoyable ways to keep her mind busy, too. Most of all, Yenlee is looking for a family who will make her feel safe, loved, and included.
Good with Other Pets?
Yenlee showed no reaction to other dogs while walking at ACC, but we are still learning about her history with other animals. Slow, thoughtful introductions with any resident pets will help everyone get comfortable.
Good with Kids?
Yenlee's history with children is unknown. She's a social girl who enjoys meeting people, and calm, respectful introductions will help her get to know new family members.
Things to Know
Yenlee is a lovely walking companion who doesn't pull on leash and happily follows her handler. She's playful and enjoys toys, though she can get a little protective of them when someone reaches toward what she's playing with. Giving her space around her favorite things and using positive reinforcement will help her feel comfortable. Yenlee came to us with a request for a pal, and now it's her turn to find someone who will be hers forever!
