Found as a stray, this handsome boy is ready to leave shelter life behind and find a family to shower with love. He's playful and full of personality, but he also knows how to slow things down for some serious snuggling. With Butterburr around, you'll never be short on cuddles!

My Ideal Home
Butterburr would love a home where he can enjoy daily walks, fun adventures, and plenty of quality time with his favorite people. He's an enthusiastic boy who will benefit from enrichment, food puzzles, and games to keep him busy, but don't forget to save room on the couch for him, too! His dream day probably involves a little exploring, lots of belly rubs, and a cozy nap with his family.

Good with Other Pets?
Butterburr came into care with two other female dogs, and during a recent introduction, he showed off his playful side with another dog. The two enjoyed bouncy play, and Butterburr took breaks before happily rejoining the fun. He can get excited when he sees dogs while on leash, sometimes fixating or barking, but he responds well to redirection. Slow introductions and positive reinforcement will help him make new friends while practicing his walking manners.

Butterburr is an absolute cuddle bug! He was a gentleman during our time together, walking by my side, refocusing easily when distracted, and pulling very little on our outing. But his favorite part of the day may have been our time relaxing on the couch. Before long, he was fast asleep right on top of me, complete with the cutest little snores! He kept rolling over for belly rubs and never seemed to want to leave my side. Butterburr is a loving, trusting sweetheart who deserves a cozy couch, a caring family, and a peaceful place to call home. He has so much love to give, and I can already picture him making himself right at home with his very own people!
