Princess Polly is at risk due to behavioral reasons. Polly has been observed to be highly fearful while in care and has been observed to balk on leash and needs a sling to be guided to kennel. This behavior is difficult to redirect, and Polly has been observed to escalate to snapping at the leash. During her previous stay, Polly was also observed to be fearful and would balk on leash. With handlers, Polly is receptive to a slow approach and allows petting. Medically, Polly is overweight.

Princess Polly arrived at MACC as a stray with no known history. During her previous stay in the care center, Polly was observed to be fearful noted to have a tucked tail and show whale eyes. During her current stay in the care center, Polly has been observed to balk on leash and needs a sling to be guided to kennel. This behavior is difficult to redirect, and Polly has been observed to escalate to snapping at the leash. Due to the detailed behavior, we recommend an experienced adult-only home.
