Meet Xola! You'll come for her tiny smushy face and curly q piglet tail, and stay for her personality that feels like a warm ray of sunshine on a cloudy day - a best friend through and through. 2 year old, 48 lb Xola is equal parts snuggle bug and adventure buddy, and an absolute joy to be around.

Xola takes a beat to warm up to new people, but give her a little patience (and preferably lots of treats!) and she melts into the sweetest, most affectionate velcro dog who just wants to be near her person. When she's not curled up against your side on the couch, she's perfectly happy entertaining herself with her beloved chews and stuffies.

Xola is a wonderful house guest! She is fully housetrained and crate trained - she sleeps in her crate overnight, naps there during the day, and does wonderfully home alone crated for several hours. On leash she's a lovely easygoing walker, mostly unfazed by all the city chaos (but loves a good sniff!). She's friendly and respectful with other dogs, loves car rides and bath time, and is a wonderful medium between easygoing and playful - making her incredibly adaptable to many kinds of households.

Xola is incredibly smart, a food-motivated learner, and genuinely fun to train - she already knows the cues "sit", "stay", "crate", "down", "touch", "stop", and "go". Her foster parents are currently working on some manners like her playful mouthiness when excited (which she easily redirects from with a toy or chew!), and learning that strangers can be as safe as the people she knows and loves.

Xola will be a lucky someone's soul dog through every ordinary day and big adventure - she is ready to thrive in a forever home!
