Shelly, a beautiful Pittie, was rescued from Manhattan ACC where she had been brought in as a stray. Our veterinary partner estimates that Shelly was born in 2015. She had broken teeth and was emaciated at only 24 pounds!! Her foster mom has been taking such good care of her and she now is healthy and happy! Despite her obvious neglect, Shelly remains a very sweet and loving girl, and we can’t wait until she has a home to call her very own. Shelly is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, housebroken, crate trained and knows basic commands. This girl is super smart and would do well with an active family willing to take the time and make sure she gets enough of her favorite activity. . . chasing tennis balls! Shelly is great with kids and people of all ages. She does not do well with cats, and a meet and greet is required if there are other dogs in the home. Please apply online here if you are interested in adopting Shelly.
