Meet Butterscotch!
Butterscotch is a young girl with a playful spirit and plenty of energy to share! Found as a stray, she's still figuring out her surroundings, but she loves exploring, sniffing out interesting things, and letting loose with a few zoomies. She can be a little unsure in new situations, so she's looking for someone who will give her time to settle in and let her sweet personality shine. With a name like Butterscotch, she's sure to add a little sweetness to someone's life!

My Ideal Home
Butterscotch would love a home where she can enjoy daily walks, fun adventures, and plenty of enrichment to keep her busy. Food puzzles, long lasting chews, and games that encourage her to use her nose will give her fun ways to channel her energy. She'll do best with a patient person who can provide a calm, predictable routine and let her get comfortable at her own pace.

Good with Other Pets?
Butterscotch would do best as the only pet in her home. She's had some difficult interactions with other dogs at ACC, so sharing her space with another animal may be too much for her right now. She should also skip dog parks in favor of quieter walks and activities she can enjoy with her person.

Good with Kids?
Butterscotch would do best in an adult only home where she can enjoy a calm environment while building confidence. She can feel overwhelmed by unfamiliar situations, so she'll appreciate people who respect her boundaries and let her decide when she's ready for interaction.

Things to Know
Butterscotch can be a little hesitant around new people and may need time to warm up, but she enjoys exploring once she feels more comfortable. She can pull on leash and get the zoomies when excitement takes over, so positive reinforcement training and plenty of enrichment will help her find her rhythm. She may need some patience as she adjusts to home life, but the right person can help her feel safe and secure.
