Haribo was surrendered to the care center as a stray. During his time at the care center he has shown social behavior with staff, soliciting attention and play. Haribo can display high arousal behaviors on walks, including jumping up repeatedly and mouthing at handlers and the leash, and due to his size and strength this can be difficult to manage and redirect. For these reasons, we recommend placement with a New Hope partner who can provide any necessary behavior modification (force-free, positive reinforcement-based) and re-evaluate behavior in a stable home environment before placement into a permanent home.
