Meet Ellie!

Ellie is a happy-go lucky 4 year old girl. She is full of personality and is always ready for her next adventure—or cuddle session.

Ellie loves people and believes every human or dog she meets is a potential new best friend. She eagerly greets visitors and thrives on attention and affection from anyone willing to give it. More than anything, Ellie loves being by her person's side and would happily spend every moment of the day with her family.

Not only is Ellie a big fan of spending time with her people, she's also so eager to please them. Ellie has mastered her sit and stay commands and shows up excitedly for training sessions at any time - especially when yummy treats and sweet praise are involved.

Ellie is also a wonderful walking companion. Being only 4 years old, she does get excited by everything there is to see. That being said, she knows to check in when being called.

In foster care, Ellie is working on refining her manners and learning how to channel her energy appropriately. Because she wants so badly to make her people happy, she redirects quickly when corrected and continues to make great progress every day. She is also becoming more comfortable entertaining herself and playing independently. She would be a dream dog around kids given her gentle, friendly and affectionate nature - especially with little ones who are equally respectful.
