Surrendered when his owner could no longer care for him, he's now searching for a fresh start with someone who will appreciate his playful spirit and help him continue building confidence. He's eager to learn, loves treats, and is happiest when he's interacting with the people he trusts.

Lowkey Mischief is looking for an active, patient adopter who enjoys training and can provide plenty of physical exercise and mental enrichment. He's a smart, energetic dog who responds well to positive reinforcement and is already showing how eager he is to learn. With consistency and encouragement, he'll continue growing into an amazing companion.

Good with Other Pets?

Lowkey's history with other dogs is limited, and he's shown mixed reactions while at the shelter. Slow, carefully managed introductions will be important with any future canine companions. He also enjoys chasing small animals on walks, so adopters should be prepared to continue working on his focus using reward-based training.

Things to Know

Lowkey Mischief is a very active, playful dog who thrives when he has an outlet for his energy. Puzzle toys, food-dispensing toys, training games, long walks, and enrichment activities will all help keep his mind busy. Volunteers write:

8/16: I briefly met him in the backyard. He was friendly, loved treats, sat nicely, and took them gently from my hand. He wasn't interested in the tossed tennis ball, but absolutely loved butt scratches. He was very well-behaved and easy to interact with during our short time together.

7/24: Easy to leash, exit and return to kennel. Short walk as it was still pretty hot out. Low key and sweet, no mischief seen. Hot sidewalks bothered him so we returned to the shelter after official business was taken care of. I look forward to walking him again and hanging out in the back yard, should the afternoon heat pose a continuing problem.
