Meet Dymond!
Dymond is a sweet girl who enjoys staying close to her people and occasionally comes over to ask for some affection. Her former family says she knows her potty routine, is comfortable being held and handled, and happily goes along with baths and brushing. After being surrendered when her owner could no longer care for her, Dymond is hoping to find a forever home where she can sparkle as brightly as her name suggests.
My Ideal Home
Dymond would love a home where she can settle into a predictable routine and spend plenty of quality time with her people. She'll enjoy daily walks and enrichment, along with a calm environment where she can feel comfortable and confident. Her new family should also be prepared to help her feel more at ease when left alone, since being by herself can be difficult for her.
Good with Other Pets?
Dymond's former family reports that she can become uncomfortable when other dogs get too close to her people, so she'll need thoughtful introductions with any resident pets. She'll do best in a controlled setting where she can take things at her own pace and get to know new furry friends gradually.
Good with Kids?
Dymond would do best with older, dog-savvy children who understand how to give her space and respect her boundaries. A calmer home will help her feel more relaxed and give this sensitive girl room to shine.
Things to Know
Dymond can feel a little unsure in certain situations, especially when strangers approach her family or when she's asked to do something she finds uncomfortable. She's also a girl who prefers to enjoy her meals in peace, so giving her space around food will be important. Her new family should use positive, reward-based training to help her build confidence, especially with handling and alone time. Give this girl a little time to settle in, and you may just find that Dymond is a real gem.
