June is an affectionate & playful dog. She loves every human she meets and her favorite spot is on a lap or cuddling with her favorite people. June loves walks and requires a medium amount of exercise/enrichment each day, but will spend the rest of her time relaxing on the couch. She is food motivated and has worked with a trainer on most basic commands (sit, stay, leave it, etc.) and leash walking, but occasionally pulls when excited. June is potty trained, very quiet (never barks), and is crate trained (used to staying in a crate 9am-5pm with a lunchtime walk a few days a week). June would do best with an adopter outside the city and as the only pet in the home. Other favorite activities include playing tug, fetch, laying under blankets, and following her humans around the house.

ALL adoptions require a completed application and final contract. The application can be found at WaldosRescue.org and once you are approved to adopt you will be put in touch with the foster to see if it’s a good match. We are a RESCUE not a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We are unable to contact every applicant for every dog. We will select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dogs needs.
