My Boroughbreaker writes: One of the first things I noticed about Baby Boy (after he enthusiastically greeted me at the shelter, of course) was how easy he was to walk. He's clearly an expert at walking on a leash, only pulling when he spotted a squirrel or chipmunk. He has other tricks up his sleeve, too--when we stopped at a bench in Central Park, I learned that he knows how to sit AND shake hands! What a gentleman!
One of Baby Boy's favorite activities is just sitting and watching the world go by. Between peoplewatching sessions, he loves getting belly rubs and plenty of head scratches. When I met up with a friend in the park, he was a bit overexcited (jumping up) but soon settled down enough to get some pets while seated with all four paws on the ground. Baby Boy is fairly interested in other dogs but is easily redirected and was able to pass other dogs on the sidewalk without incident.
Overall Baby Boy is a smart, sweet boy who loves taking in the world! His excellent leash skills and repertoire of tricks suggest that he's an enthusiastic student. He'll match your pace, whether that means a long walk in the park or hanging out in the shade--as long as it involves some belly rubs.
