Meet Pastina!

Pastina is an adorable 2-month-old mixed breed puppy and the tiniest little noodle of the bunch, but don't let her size fool you, because this girl can EAT!

As the smallest of her siblings, Pastina may be petite, but she's busy exploring her new foster home, taking in everything around her, and letting her little personality begin to shine. And when mealtime rolls around? Let's just say she has absolutely no intention of letting her siblings get an extra helping.

Like any baby puppy, Pastina is still learning all the important things that come with growing up. Since she's currently too young to safely explore the outdoors, she's using pee pads in her foster home and will need a family ready to continue working with her on potty training as she gets older.

Pastina is looking for a forever family ready for all the fun that comes with raising a puppy: learning, exploring, playing, and watching this tiny girl grow into whoever she's meant to be.

She may be the smallest pasta in the bowl, but Pastina has an appetite for life (and apparently everything else).

Pastina is currently being fostered in Middletown, NJ. Her adoption fee is $800.

Pastina is a Patron Pup. Patron Pups have higher adoption fees due to varying reasons and are adopted quickly, even with these higher adoption fees. They may be purebred, a highly desirable breed, small in size fully grown, etc. These fees allow them to act as patrons to other pets in our care who may not be as adoptable, or have ongoing costs for medical care, contributing to a longer time in rescue, and therefore a higher cost for us to care for them. Patron Pups allow us to continue rescuing these other animals and give them a better chance at finding their forever homes as well.

To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt

All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.

For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible.

We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.
