Layla

Terrier/Mixed Breed (Medium) · Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons, East Hampton, NY

This Alabama sweetheart has quite the story behind that wagging tail! Layla traveled all the way to New York after being flown here ahead of Hurricane Isasis, helping make room for more furry friends in need at Greater Birmingham Humane Society. While the weather may have been a little rough back home, this girl is bringing nothing but sunshine wherever she goes!

If there’s a good time to be had, you can bet your bottom dollar Layla is right in the middle of it! This playful, outgoing gal is full of puppy personality and ready to make friends with the world. She’s got enough pep in her step to power a whole country porch full of rocking chairs, and she’s always ready to turn an ordinary day into a grand ol’ time.

After making such a big journey to safety, Layla’s ready for her next chapter, and she’s hoping it involves backyard adventures, squeaky toys, and a family who thinks her goofy little ways are just as wonderful as we do.
