Pop Up Promo! ACC is over capacity, so I'm currently living in a pop up crate. My adoption fee is waived, and my adoption comes with a $50 Chewy gift card.

Meet Miles!
Miles is a friendly, affectionate guy with a whole lot of love to give! His former family describes him as outgoing and social, and he loves meeting people and making new friends. He's got a bouncy personality and is always excited to be part of the action. Now that he's looking for a new home, Miles is ready to find someone who will help him channel all that enthusiasm into fun adventures together.

My Ideal Home
Miles would love a home where he can enjoy daily walks, quality time with his people, and plenty of fun activities to keep his mind busy. He's a medium energy guy who will benefit from positive reinforcement training to practice polite greetings, improve his leash manners, and learn how to stay calm when exciting things happen around him. He's also used to going potty outside and using wee wee pads, so his family can continue helping him stick to a consistent routine.

Good with Other Pets?
Miles previously lived with a cat, and his former family described him as tolerant of cats and friendly with unfamiliar dogs. During a recent introduction at ACC, he showed interest in meeting another dog but became uncomfortable when the other dog continued approaching despite his signals for space. Slow, thoughtful introductions and supervision will be important to help Miles feel comfortable around other pets.

Good with Kids?
Although Miles previously lived with children, ACC recommends a home without children under 13 because he can get overly excited during interactions and is still working on his impulse control. He's looking for a family who can help him practice calmer greetings and give him the guidance he needs to succeed.

Things to Know
Miles is a big people person who sometimes gets so excited that he jumps up to say hello. He can also pull hard on leash, especially when he's eager to explore, and may react to dogs, approaching strangers, and moving objects during walks. Positive reinforcement training and a front clip harness can help him practice focusing on his handler. Miles also prefers to keep his favorite toys to himself, so his family should give him space around valued items and use tasty treats or toy swaps rather than taking things directly from his mouth. He's had a few indoor potty accidents when he couldn't get outside in time, so a consistent bathroom routine will help. With patience, fun training, and plenty of love, Miles is ready to go the extra mile for his next family!

My Previous Foster Writes:
Miles is patiently waiting to meet his new best friend! He's a very friendly and loyal guy who just wants to cuddle on the couch, sit with you outside, or keep you company wherever you are. He may even poke his head in to check on you in the shower! He's not much of a barker, but you'll know he's nearby because he always wants some part of himself touching you, whether it's a paw, head, or tail. Miles knows Sit, Down, Paw, Stay, and Come, and he loves practicing and learning new tricks. On walks, he usually goes about his business until he realizes someone wants to say hello, then his tail starts wagging and he's ready for some attention. Miles is a loving companion who thrives on being close to his people, and he's ready to find someone who will welcome all those cuddles.

My Boroughbreaker Writes:
If you're looking for an affectionate companion, Miles might just steal your heart! During our outing, he was relaxed and happy to explore the world around him. He greeted people with a wagging tail and showed friendly curiosity toward other dogs. He has a lower to moderate energy level and was perfectly happy to settle down and relax after our walk. Miles also gave me a few gentle hand kisses, showing off his sweet side. One of my favorite moments was our stop at Starbucks for a pup cup. He patiently and gently licked the whipped cream right from the cup I held for him, proving to be quite the gentleman! Miles has so much love to give and would be thrilled to find a family who will cherish him and make him their best friend for life.
