Otis (AKA Roamer) is the sweetest, most affectionate dog we've ever met. He's the definition of man's best friend: he lives to be around people. He'd be the perfect fit to snuggle right into your home.

Personality & Characteristics: He's very cuddly, and his favorite thing is hunkering down for a nap next to his humans. He's calm, affectionate, and curious. Whether working from home or coming home from a long day, you'll never feel lonely because he's such a loving dog.
My foster dog is good with all humans and incredibly friendly. He is uncomfortable with other dogs and cats, so we've kept him away for the most part. He's gotten better during our time with us (no lunging and pulling aggressively when other dogs pass, more of a bark and whine).
My foster dog is house-trained and could very easily be crate-trained.

Energy Level (1= calm, 10= high energy): 3, He's a very quiet and calm pup, but he can get energetic when it's time for a meal or to play.
Walking Manners: He walks on a leash well. But, he can pull when a rodent, bird, or dog passes by.
Appetite: Healthy, but he's not possessive of his food. We've been sure to test him by temporarily holding or removing his bowl during feedings, and he's never reacted negatively.
Favorite Things: His lamby toy, cuddles, a nap, and people.
Commands/Tricks: When he came to us, he knew no commands aside from "no." But within a few days, he's been comprehending "sit" and "stay," which means he's a quick learner! He also lets us clean his paws, rear and face with a wipe whenever we come in from a walk on the city street without any fuss.

ALL adoptions require a completed application and final contract. The application can be found at WaldosRescue.org and once you are approved to adopt you will be put in touch with the foster to see if it’s a good match. We are a RESCUE not a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We are unable to contact every applicant for every dog. We will select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dogs needs.
