My foster dog is good with: Kids. She’s Crate trained, house trained and low shed. She is so gentle, loving and loves to relax in the couch and u see the sun!

Energy Level (1= calm, 10= high energy): 3 - she is a couch potato but loves to play fetch or with her favorite toy in the evening. She is the most quiet pup and barely barks.

Walking Manners: She only pulls very slightly at least in the beginning because she loves to sniff around and get to know her surroundings. She’s so well behaved on walks. Loves to bird watch too!

Appetite: pretty regular. She has 1 can a day. She is good at portioning her intake and only eats when hungry. She loves the smell of meat but never tries to take food out of your hand if it’s not offered to her.

Favorite Things: belly scratches and cuddles. naps under the sun. Chicken treats. Squeaky toys (but only when she’s ready to play),

Commands/Tricks: not sure yet .

ALL adoptions require a completed application and final contract. The application can be found at WaldosRescue.org and once you are approved to adopt you will be put in touch with the foster to see if it’s a good match. We are a RESCUE not a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We are unable to contact every applicant for every dog. We will select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dogs needs. Waldos Rescue Pen is a 501c3 whose primary focus is rescuing dogs from the euthanasia list from high kill shelters throughout the United States and Korea.
