Reacher

Medium mixed breed · New York, ny

Hi! My name is Reacher AKA Rue and I just arrived to NYC!

I am calm at home with you and I am so sweet.
So far I'm not too playful but I am good with cats, and dogs for the most part (though we're still working that out as we learn) and people!

I have a unique dark brown/reddish coat that magically becomes a light golden brown in the sun.

I am down to lay down whenever for as long as possible. Pet me all you want, I’m not offended.

I am in need of a strong and very experienced handler.

I am currently very fearful and very scared of loud noises behind me and fast moving objects so the city is hard for me but with some confidence I could possibly get used to it. For now I have to avoid loud sudden noises as much as possible, they scare me and sometimes I circle and then lay down because of it or try to run, so I need a strong leader who can work with me on this. My foster daddy is working hard to see if I can become a good fit for the city, or if I'm going to have to live outside the city since it feels so overwhelming right now, but we are confident that things will get better soon!

I can’t wait to continue to settle in and work on my sit, stay and come commands.

The city is big and scary through my soulful angel eyes but I’m excited for this new adventure!
