Mondelez came into ACC as a stray, Because of this we do not know how he is in a home environment. During his time in the care center, Mondelez has been noted to be jump up onto handler and lock his paws onto their waist when they attempt to return him to kennel. He had to be straight armed away from the handler. This behavior has been hard to redirect. We recommend placement with a New Hope partner who can provide any necessary behavior modification (force-free, positive reinforcement-based) and re-evaluate behavior in a stable home environment before placement into a permanent home.
