She enjoys leisurely walks with a loose leash, loves learning new things, and has had fun practicing games like "Touch," "Up/Down," and "1-2-3," showing off just how smart and engaged she is. Once she gets to know you, Rogue happily leans in for affection, flashes her adorable smile, and will even rest her paws on your leg to ask for a few more pets.

Rogue is happiest with patient people who appreciate her gentle nature. She has shown interest in other dogs and enjoys observing them, though slow introductions are recommended. If you're looking for a loyal companion who will reward your kindness with endless affection, Rogue is ready to meet you!

My foster writes: I'm a wise, sweet older girl with a total heart of gold and plenty of pep left in my step! My ideal day includes catching up on nap time, walking (and sniffing), learning some new tricks, and having a goofy evening play session.

Unshakable City Gal: Sirens, traffic, and bustling sidewalks don't bug me one bit-I take NYC right in stride.
Manners & Brains: I'm very polite and was raised right. I love positive reinforcement training, follow directions gladly (like resting on my mat while you cook), and take treats with the gentlest mouth. I'm happy to sleep away they day while you're at wor and am fully "housebroken".
Affectionate Sidekick: I adore scratches, belly rubs, grooming sessions, and cozy snuggles. And food. I'm polite about it, but I really like food.
Work in Progress: I get a bit over-eager when I see other dogs -no barking, just a keen whine and really strong lean-and I'd love a human who will keep helping me build my dog-related social skills.
