Introducing Pickles! He is a 18 pound, Schnauzer mix looking for his forever home. Pickles is the kind of dog who makes himself right at home in your heart! He’s lovable, playful, incredibly snuggly, and always ready for whatever adventure you have planned. Whether he’s playing a good game of fetch, showing off his tug-of-war skills, or curling up next to his favorite person, Pickles is happiest when he’s with his people. He loves going for walks, but there’s one thing you should know—Pickles believes everything outside needs to be officially claimed as his! So be prepared for a very thorough pee-mail tour of the neighborhood. He’s fantastic in his crate, although he may bark at first just to make sure you know he’s not thrilled that you left without him. Don’t worry—he settles down quickly and is soon relaxing like nothing ever happened. He has also picked up potty training like an absolute champ! Pickles bonds deeply with both people and other dogs. He would be perfectly happy as your one-and-only, but he’d also love having a canine sibling to hang out with. Most of all, he wants to be included in your life. He’s the perfect size to take just about anywhere and would happily sit beside you at the park while you work on your computer, soaking up the sunshine and keeping you company. When he’s back at home, you’ll often find Pickles perched at his favorite bench window, watching the streets of NYC go by. He’ll spend the day judging everyone passing by like he owns the neighborhood, and once his important observations are complete, he’ll happily curl up for a well-earned snooze. Pickles is sweet, funny, affectionate, and full of personality. He’s ready to find his forever person and become your little sidekick for life.
