Juniper

Meet Juniper!

At 4-years-old and just 18 pounds, this Terrier is a whole lot of adorable packed into one scruffy little package! She has the cutest wild hair, the best ears, and a personality just as lovable as her looks.

Juniper is an easygoing girl who is happy to go with the flow. She’s not necessarily a lap dog, but she’ll follow you around and always wants to be close by. Whether you’re heading out for a walk or settling in for a cozy night on the couch, she’s happy just being part of your day.

She’s friendly when meeting new people and other dogs, walks beautifully on a leash, and appears to be fully housebroken. She gets along with other dogs and does a nice job communicating her boundaries. She also appears to do well with cats, although she may occasionally be tempted by a little game of chase! Her personality is the perfect mix of couch potato and playful companion. She’s been pretty quiet in her foster home and seems to take everything in stride.

Now all this scruffy sweetheart needs is a family to call her own. If you’re looking for a sweet, adaptable little sidekick with a big personality, a fuzzy face, and ears that deserve their own fan club, Juniper might just be your girl!

Juniper is being fostered in Staten Island, NY and her adoption fee is $550.

To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt

All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.

For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible.

We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.
