Chloe is a 10-year-old, 10-pound female terrier mix from New York City! Chloe is a sweet, gentle, and loving pup.

She has adjusted very well to her time in the city. Chloe enjoys cuddling up next to whoever looks the comfiest, walks around the block, and blueberries!

She is doing well understanding “sit” and working on other obedience training. She’ll come to you when her name is called (unless she’s really comfy). And don’t be surprised to hear some grumbling when you try to move her from a comfy spot! During her time with her foster family, she seems to be somewhat housetrained with assistance from pee pads during longer periods without a walk. With a consistent schedule, she’s been good about not having accidents, but will need continued work on this with her forever family.

Chloe is great on a leash, no pulling or dragging. Just happy to walk next to ya with the occasional look up to make sure you’re still there. She loves walks and gets excited the moment she hears the leash jingle. She even does well walking alongside a stroller and her only distractions are the occasional “treat” dropped on the sidewalk.

Her forever family will need to continue working with Chloe to reinforce and advance the progress she been making.

Chloe has done well being alone in the apartment. She embraces the opportunity for a good nap and greets you with a wagging tail when you come home. Chloe has done well in her crate during the day and will sleep through the night in there, but she'd much prefer your bed.

Chloe is looking for a family with low to medium activity. She would be content with a quiet household or a busier one with young children. She appreciates downtime and active moments equally. Chloe is fine being the solo dog or having another dog in the household, but she has not been cat tested. Chloe does well with children and enjoyed her time living with a 2 and 5-year-old in one of her former foster homes.

Vaccinated for rabies, DHPP, bordetella, and microchipped. Will need to be spayed/neutered upon completed medical evaluation, currently pending. Current on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.
