Meet **Ruby** 🤍🐾 If you're looking for a best friend who believes personal space is optional, Ruby might just be your girl. Ruby is an affectionate, happy pup who loves giving hugs, kisses, and following her people wherever they go. She's full of puppy joy and will happily entertain herself with toys, zoom around the house, or launch herself onto the couch for a cuddle when playtime is over. She's wonderful with other dogs and would thrive in a home with a canine sibling to play with. She'd also do great with children over 2–3 years old (she's about the same size as a toddler and doesn't always realize it!). Ruby is crate trained, loves mealtime (and never says no to a treat!), and settles nicely in her crate after a quick reminder that she can't be part of every adventure happening around her. One of her favorite pastimes is sitting by the window, watching the world go by. Like any young pup, Ruby is still learning. We're making progress with potty training—she understands that outside is where she's supposed to go and happily uses the yard, but she's still having occasional accidents indoors. She'll need a patient family willing to continue helping her build consistency. What Ruby gives in return is endless love, laughter, and companionship. She's the kind of dog who wants to be involved in everything you do and will make every day a little brighter just by being there. Could Ruby be the missing piece of your family? ❤️🐶

ALL adoptions require a completed application and final contract. The application can be found at WaldosRescue.org and once you are approved to adopt you will be put in touch with the foster to see if it's a good match. We are a RESCUE not a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We are unable to contact every applicant for every dog. We will select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dogs needs. Waldos Rescue Pen is a 501c3 whose primary focus is rescuing dogs from the euthanasia list from high kill shelters throughout the United States and Korea.
