Bali is a total ball of energy and will definitely keep things entertaining! He is energetic, playful, and full of puppy energy, always ready to prance around with his toys. He can happily play independently, but he will just as happily solicit you to join in on the fun. He is also loyal and loving to his core, and once his energy winds down, he becomes a total cuddle bug who loves a cozy nap at home and follows you around, always keeping an eye on you. He has the curiosity to match his energy too, always eager to explore, sniff, and investigate everything outside, and he really lights up when he gets to wrestle and play chase with other dogs.

Personality & Characteristics:
Playful, loyal, loving, cuddly, curious, smart, and intuitive. He picks up new things fast and genuinely enjoys training time. He also takes well to boundaries in the home and, in just one month, has already learned an impressive number of commands. With time and patience, he has the potential to be an extremely well trained dog.

My foster dog is: House trained, knows basic commands including sit, down, stay, and place, and is working on his recall, which improves every day. Still building his leash manners, but is making good progress.
Energy Level (1-10): 8
Barker? Or Quiet Pup?: Mostly quiet and chill, but will alert bark to keep an eye on his people and his space, which is very true to his breed. If you redirect his attention and respond calmly, he settles down.
Appetite: Excellent
Favorite Things: Treats, his ball, cheese, any kind of meat, his chew toys, and his plush toys. He loves a good game of chase and getting to tumble around and play rough with his doggy friends, especially the bigger dogs who can keep up with him. But when the day winds down, he turns right back into a big snuggle baby.

ALL adoptions require a completed application and final contract. The application can be found at WaldosRescue.org and once you are approved to adopt you will be put in touch with the foster to see if it’s a good match. We are a RESCUE not a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We are unable to contact every applicant for every dog. We will select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dogs needs.
