Meet Rupaw!
Rupaw may still have the big ears and big paws of a puppy, but this girl already has a BIG personality! She's an incredibly friendly, affectionate pup who loves people, happily leaning in for pets and soaking up every bit of attention she can get. Found as a stray, Rupaw is ready to leave her unknown past behind and find a family who will give her all the love she's been waiting for.

My Ideal Home
Rupaw would love an active home where she can enjoy plenty of walks, playtime, and adventures with her people. She'll also need some fun ways to keep her clever, energetic mind busy, like food puzzles, long-lasting chews, and games. She's eager to learn and very treat motivated, so positive-reinforcement training will help her practice polite greetings and keep all four paws on the floor.

Good with Other Pets?
Rupaw's history with other animals is unknown, but she has shown mild interest in other dogs that is easily redirected. She's a social girl who may enjoy making new friends, and any introductions should still be slow and thoughtful so everyone starts off on the right paw.

Good with Kids?
Rupaw's history with children is unknown, but she's an incredibly social girl who loves attention and praise. Because she's enthusiastic about saying hello, her new family should help her practice calm greetings and make sure interactions are respectful and supervised.

Things to Know
Rupaw is a happy, enthusiastic girl who loves being with people and can get especially excited when greeting them. She's very responsive to treats, praise, and affection, making her a fun pup to train and bond with. She may need a little help remembering her manners when she's excited, but with some positive reinforcement and consistency, this big-hearted girl is ready to be someone's best adventure buddy.

My Boroughbreaker Writes:
Rupaw still has the big ears and big paws of a puppy, but don't let that fool you! She's wise beyond her years and was an absolute joy to spend the day with. We explored Central Park together, and Rupaw was easy to walk with little to no prey drive and only mild interest in other dogs that was easily redirected. But her favorite part of the day seemed to be relaxing in the sun, getting endless pets, and watching the world go by. Rupaw absolutely lights up when someone gives her praise, head scratches, or even just a smile, and her friendly face and wagging tail won her plenty of new friends. She could be a little nervous around loud noises or unfamiliar objects, but positive reinforcement helped her move right along. Rupaw is ready for a loving home where she can keep growing her confidence and sharing all that love.
