Mr. King came to ACC as an owner surrender after living with adults, children, dogs, and cats. He is a high-energy, playful boy who can be shy with new people and prefers to interact on his own terms. He is also affectionate once comfortable and enjoys spending time with his family.

My Ideal Home

Mr. King needs a patient home that can provide structure, exercise, enrichment, and positive-reinforcement training. He will need continued support with house training, anxiety, and feeling comfortable with handling.

Good with Kids?

Older children are recommended. Due to resource guarding and handling sensitivity, younger children are not recommended.

Good with Other Pets?

Mr. King lived with another dog and has been described as playful with dogs. However, he can be wary with unfamiliar dogs, so introductions should be slow and controlled. Dog parks are not recommended.
