Aitutaki was bred in Tennessee to guard livestock, but his timid, gentle nature made him better suited for cuddling than working. Luckily, he was surrendered to rescue and landed right in our care.

He's a gentle giant with soulful eyes, eager for love even if he's still unsure how to ask for it. He takes a little time to warm up to strangers, but once he does, he's the sweetest snuggle bug. He's affectionate without being clingy — just as content giving you space as he is curled up beside you.

Aitutaki is looking for a calm, low-key home to match his energy. He gets along great with other dogs and is happy to share his space with cats. He's gentle with dog-savvy kids who respect his boundaries and appreciate his quiet nature.
