Gecko, appropriately named for his floppy tongue hanging out of his mouth at all times, is the sweetest little shadow you might ever find. He's been through a lot over the years, but that doesn't seem to ever get him down. Lover of all walks, Gecko thrives on the leash, sniffing and marking his way through the neighborhood, eagerly looking forward to his next encounter with another pup, tail sticking straight up, wagging at 100 miles per hour.
In between adventures on his leash, Gecko is found wherever his person is, comfortably lounging (tongue out) on a couch, bed, floor, or your lap. He'll become your little shadow, staring (sometimes goofily) at you as you cook, clean, or brush your teeth in the morning. When not sleeping, he's building his nest, nuzzling clothes, taking socks, and moving them to his bed of choice. He doesn't love to play with toys, but he's always excited for eating time. With only a few teeth left, he's limited to soft food, but he loves that, his deli meats, and cheeses.
The sweetest little guy you'll ever meet, you'll also see his sassy side - if he wants or needs something, he'll let you know whether it's time to go outside, to eat, or to get on the couch with him. Gecko is the perfect addition to any family looking for a low-maintenance, sweet, and endlessly funny little guy.
Gecko is approximately 10y 2m 7d old and is fully grown at 10.2 pounds. They are microchipped and up to date on all age-appropriate medical care. Their breed is unknown as we have not had a DNA test done.
Although our dogs are listed as unknown breed, buildings with specific dog restrictions typically enforce their rules based on what breeds a dog appears to resemble. It's always important to keep that in mind and know your building's policies before adopting a dog.
