Meet Penelope!

Penelope is a 3-month-old, 11-pound mixed-breed puppy with a sweet, affectionate personality. She's currently being fostered in a home with four children and two dogs, where she's thriving and showing just how much she loves being part of the family.

Penelope is a true Velcro pup who loves being close to her people and happily follows her foster family wherever they go. She enjoys playing with toys, chewing on bones, and spending time with both people and other dogs.

Like any young puppy, Penelope is still learning. She has some playful puppy nipping (typical puppy behavior, not aggression) and experiences a little separation anxiety, so she'll do best with a family that can give her the time, patience, and reassurance she needs as she builds confidence. She sleeps soundly through the night on the couch, is not yet crate trained, and is making progress with potty training but will need continued consistency and routine.

If you're looking for a loyal, loving companion who wants nothing more than to be by your side, Penelope could be the perfect addition to your family. With a little guidance and lots of love, she's sure to grow into an amazing best friend.

All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.

We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week.
