Honey was surrendered into care as a stray, so his previous history in a home environment is unknown. Honey has not acclimated well to the kennel environment and has only allowed minimal handling since intake. He remains significantly fearful and shut down and refuses to walk. We recommend placement with a new whole partner who can provide any necessary behavior modification (Force-free, positive reinforcement-based) and reevaluate his behavior in a stable home environment before placement into a permanent home.
