Sometimes in life, you meet a dog that just makes you proud to know them - that time is now and that dog is Penny!

Penny is a 4 year old girl thats barely 50 pounds and each pound is perfection.

Pennys temperament is full of soft sweetness, earned gentleness, and eager affection. Penny is nothing short of a girl who absolutely adores her people and truly knows deep in her soul when they adore her reciprocally..

Penny's best traits are that she is as loyal and loving as they come making her a true best friend and a humble companion.

Every day Penny is happiest spending time with her people while absolutely understanding that there will be days she will need to be left alone. Penny has no qualms about being left alone crate and/or uncrated and is able to navigate her day to day independently. Penny is extremely adaptable and understands if her humans schedule changes and some days will be spent alone more than others. Penny is known to give her humans so much grace and understanding.

Penny lost her family due to a housing crisis, and it is clear she was deeply loved and we are honored to continue pouring tha tlove into Penny during her time in foster care. she Penny is such a smart girl thats always eager to please and picks up training quickly. Penny knows knows sit, stay, paw, down, crate, and even understands some commands in Spanish

Penny walks well on leash and is easily directed even when she see's another dog and feels fearful. Penny understands that in city life other dogs exist in close confines so she appreciates the small moments when her walker is able to advocate for her and ask other dogs to keep away by crossing the street or standing to the side to let other dogs pas.

Penny has met small kiddos in her foster neighborhood and has been extremely friendly even while receiving treats from a toddler neighbor while riding the elevator together.

Penny is 100% housebroken and is good with a flexible potty schedule.

Penny is friendly with strangers she meets out doors and actually prefers to meet people outside of her home before inviting them in. Penny understands that her home is her sanctuary and solely likes to make sure folks past the vibe check before entering the safe space she shares with her beloved family. Penny has absolutely mastered outside introductions followed by structured infoor meets where she's allowed to meet and greet at her own pace before fully wearing her heart on her sleeve and showing all of her heart.

Despite the heartbreak of losing her original family, Penny remains playful, curious, and full of love..
