Meet Rhylee!

Rhylee is a fun-loving pup who came to ACC when her owner could no longer care for her. This playful girl has a big personality and loves making connections with her favorite people. From car rides to squeaky toys to splashing around in the water, Rhylee knows how to enjoy the good things in life. She is looking for a patient family who can help her channel her enthusiasm and continue learning.

My Ideal Home

Rhylee would thrive with an adopter who enjoys an active and playful companion. She will benefit from daily exercise, enrichment, and positive reinforcement training to help her practice calm greetings, impulse control, and appropriate ways to show her excitement. A predictable home with someone who understands her need to take things at her own pace will help Rhylee feel confident and successful.

Good with Other Pets?

Rhylee's previous owner reported that she has lived with other dogs, but she prefers interactions on her own terms. During her time at ACC, she has been a bit more independent when meeting new dogs, so slow introductions and allowing her time to warm up will be important.

Good with Kids?

Due to Rhylee's high energy, jumping, and moments of feeling overwhelmed during handling, an adult-only home is recommended at this time. She would do best with people who can recognize her body language and help her feel comfortable through gentle, positive interactions.

Things to Know

Rhylee is a silly, affectionate pup who brings plenty of energy and personality wherever she goes! She loves fluffy beds, squeaky toys, water, and spending time with her people. She is still working on keeping all four paws on the floor and learning that leashes are for walking, not playing tug, but she is smart and ready to learn. With patience, structure, and positive reinforcement, Rhylee is ready to be someone's playful adventure buddy.
