Meet Bluey!

Bluey was initially highly fearful when he came into the shelter. He has warmed up nicely always happy to greet staff and volunteers. His transition into a new home may take some time, and adopters should be prepared to give him patience, space, and consistency as he settles in.

Bluey's former owner had many wonderful things to say about him. He previously lived with older children, loves his chew toys, enjoys playing, and likes going for walks. These positive experiences give us a glimpse of the affectionate, playful companion Bluey can be when he feels comfortable and secure.

Bluey will need an experienced owner who understands canine body language and is willing to work with him at his own pace. A calm, structured home and a patient approach will be important in helping him build trust and feel safe. With time, consistency, and the right person by his side, Bluey may have the opportunity to show just how special he can be.
