Cinna

Chihuahua · New York, ny

Personality & Characteristics: Meet Cinna! He is the sweetest, most cuddly dog looking for a family to love him. Once he trusts you, he won’t leave your side (or lap!). Cinna loves to chase squirrels and pigeons in this park and excitedly runs to meet every dog he sees, big or small. At night, Cinna loves to get all cozy in bed underneath a pile of throw blankets (see last pic). He is the SWEETEST boy!!!!

My foster dog is good with: Dogs!!! At the park, he wants to play with every dog he sees.

My foster dog is: Cinna is 100% housebroken!!!! He has never had an accident and goes right away outside. So impressive!!!!

3 Keywords for your pup: Sweet, calm, lovable

Energy level, barker?: I would rank him at about a 6 for energy level - he loves to sniff and run around outside, but inside he relaxes! He is NOT a barker!!! I have never heard him bark.

Walking Manners: Cinna has never been on a leash before, so he is still getting comfortable with it. Since I live on a busy street in the city, I put him in my sling until we are at a park where he can safely run around on the leash. When he is done going to the bathroom and playing, he jumps right back in!

Appetite: Eating two times a day

Favorite Things: Being with his favorite person, chasing squirrels and pigeons, snuggling in bed under blankets

ALL adoptions require a completed application and final contract. The application can be found at WaldosRescue.org and once you are approved to adopt you will be put in touch with the foster to see if it’s a good match. We are a RESCUE not a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We are unable to contact every applicant for every dog. We will select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dogs needs. Waldos Rescue Pen is a 501c3 whose primary focus is rescuing dogs from the euthanasia list from high kill shelters throughout the United States and Korea.

Just Rescues does not process applications. The rescue's page is authoritative.
