AGE / WEIGHT: 7 years old / 60 lbs
GENDER: Female
ENERGY: Moderate
GOOD WITH: Dogs - Yes, Kids - TBD, Cats - TBD
ABOUT ME: First thing in any new place: sniff everything. I’m thorough, and that yard deserves a full report. Next: find the people and collect affection, my favorite part. Other dogs? Happy to share the space, no fuss. I’m a strong girl with some energy, but bouncing off the walls isn’t my style. The city’s new to me, so expect some settling in. And yes, I’m a boxer. The drool comes standard.
MY FOSTER SAYS: I will arrive in Brooklyn soon! Badass will share more as soon as I’m in a foster home.
HISTORY
Siri was picked up as a stray in Georgia in early September 2026 and taken to a local shelter, where no one came forward to claim her. She will travel to Brooklyn in mid-October 2026.
DETAILED PROFILE
Siri’s first order of business on rescue day was a full inspection of the yard. She came out with some energy, though nothing frantic, and worked the space nose-down, sniffing every corner like she was compiling a report. She’s a strong, sturdy boxer in her grown-up years, with the easy confidence of a dog who has nothing to prove.
People get the warm version right away. She was friendly and affectionate with everyone she met on the rescue trip. One thing to know up front: she’s a boxer, and the drool is very much part of the package. She considers it a feature, not a bug, and makes zero apologies.
Other dogs don’t rattle her. Another dog was out in the yard while she explored, and she wasn’t the least bit worried about him. When the two were formally introduced, she was friendly, and she seemed comfortable around the other dogs she encountered throughout the visit.
She hasn’t arrived in Brooklyn yet, so this is an early sketch from a single visit. Her energy at home, crate and house training, leash manners (worth watching in a dog this strong), and how she does with kids and cats are all still unknown. Her foster will share more once she settles, and her adopter should plan on a real adjustment period as she gets used to city life.
Nobody came looking for her after she was picked up as a stray. Their loss. Siri is ready to answer to someone new.
MEDICAL HISTORY
The dogs in our care are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed or neutered (when old enough), microchipped, and given a general health check. Immediate medical needs and medical history will be addressed with the adopter prior to adoption. Complete vet records will be sent shortly after adoption.
