Moo Moo was surrendered into care as a stray, so her past behavior in a home environment is unknown. Moo Moo has not acclimated well to the kennel environment and has allowed only minimal handling since intake. She has escalated to hard barking, growling, and being wary of leashing attempts in her kennel. Once leashed, she remains tense with a low tail and does not attempt to interact with handlers, ignoring offered treats. We recommend placement with a New Hope partner who can provide any necessary behavior modification (force-free, positive reinforcement-based) and re-evaluate behavior in a stable home environment before placement into a permanent home.
