Silly Goose was surrendered to the care center as a stray, and we have no history on her behavior in a home environment. During her time at the care center, she has shown social and affiliative behavior with staff, though has also demonstrated a low threshold for arousal, jumping and mouthing persistently when frustrated, and having difficulty redirecting and regulating once overstimulated. Due to these concerns, we recommend placement with a New Hope partner who can provide any necessary behavior modification (force-free, positive reinforcement-based) and re-evaluate behavior in a stable home environment before placement into a permanent home.
