Since arriving at the care centers Cinnamini has displayed high levels of Fearfulness and stress and has escalated to defensive aggression during intake. When first arriving at the care centers Cinnamini was reportedly anxious and would growl/bare teeth at staff. During his assessment he remained similarly tense and fearful and would not allow collaring, when attempting to collar Cinnamini he displayed a tense frozen body and slightly lifted lips. We recommend placement with a New Hope partner who can provide any necessary behavior modification (force-free, positive reinforcement-based) and re-evaluate behavior in a stable home environment before placement into a permanent home.
