ABOUT ME: Kneel down to say hi and you’ll get the full kiss treatment. I’m a mushy, dramatic, full-body cuddler who likes being tucked in under the covers, and when I’m happy I make these funny little trills. Tug is my sport, especially if you growl at the toy first. Game night? I’ll tour every lap in the room. Then I’m curled up on your dining chair, pretending to be a cat.
MY FOSTER SAYS: "She is an utter HAM. Such a funny little weirdo—very dramatic and enthusiastic, always ready to flop into an undignified position for scratches, loves to nuzzle up with a smug grin when she gets the affection she wants."
HISTORY
Everything Bagel was found abandoned in a New York City neighborhood by a Badass volunteer. After her owner declined to keep her, she came into our rescue in late July 2026.
DETAILED PROFILE
Everything Bagel comes in from a walk and launches herself straight into the nearest lap. She’s a mushy, dramatic, full-body cuddler who likes to be tucked under the covers at bedtime, throws herself belly-up for scratches, and makes funny little trills when she wants to play. At a friend’s game night, she toured every lap in the room.
She’s a young dog with moderate-to-active energy and two settings. In off mode, she naps on you or curls up like a donut on a dining chair. In on mode, she wants tug, ideally with an old squeaky pull toy, or a bone that’s been properly shaken and growled at before it’s tossed.
With people she’s friendly and outgoing. She adores women, and men do best introducing themselves before reaching to pet. She’s been sweet and gentle with kids. Dogs are case by case: she has a few calm dog friends, all met on side-by-side walks, and could live with the right match. Cats bring out her urge to chase, though she’s learning to share space; any cat household needs structured introductions and management.
She’s house trained, aside from the occasional excitement pee, and likes her crate, where she eats her meals and burrows in. On leash she sometimes barks at small dogs, especially ones that pop up unexpectedly, though she strolls past big dogs without a second glance. Indoors she’s relaxed most of the time but can rev up fast when something exciting is happening, so she’ll benefit from an adopter who helps her practice keeping her cool.
Her ideal person: fun, up for training, and lap-ready at all times.
MEDICAL HISTORY
The dogs in our care are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed or neutered (when old enough), microchipped, and given a general health check. Immediate medical needs and medical history will be addressed with the adopter prior to adoption. Complete vet records will be sent shortly after adoption.
