Meet Memphis.

Memphis was found in rural Georgia with little more than hope left. He was nothing but skin and bones, severely emaciated, and refusing to eat. It was clear he was desperately ill.

After being rushed to the veterinary hospital, doctors discovered the reason. During emergency exploratory surgery, they found a corn cob lodged in his intestines, causing a life-threatening obstruction. It's impossible to know how long he suffered, but thankfully, help came just in time.

Through it all, Memphis has remained incredibly sweet. Despite the pain he endured, he greets everyone with a gentle heart and a trusting spirit that will leave you wondering how one dog can love so deeply after everything he's been through.

Now that the obstruction has been removed, Memphis is finally on the road to recovery. He's healing, gaining strength, and learning what it feels like to have a full belly, a soft bed, and people who care about him.

What Memphis needs most now is a family to remind him that his hardest days are behind him. He deserves a home where he'll never have to search for food to survive again, never have to suffer in silence, and never have to wonder if someone is coming for him.
