Solstice is a quiet, sensitive girl who was found as a stray in New York and, due to limited space, was at risk at ACC. We stepped in, got her out, and promised her a new lease on life.

She’s timid and still learning that the world can be a safe place, likely a reflection of an unknown past that wasn’t always kind to her. Solstice is taking things one day at a time, discovering what it means to feel safe and cared for.

Because she’s shy and unsure right now, Solstice would do best with an experienced, patient adopter who understands that trust takes time. She needs a calm, loving home where she can move at her own pace, decompress, and slowly open up without pressure.

Solstice needs love more than ever; a home that will offer consistency, compassion, and the space to become the dog she’s meant to be.

All dogs will be altered, microchipped, and receive age-appropriate vaccines prior to adoption.
