Since arriving at the care centers Simba has displayed signs of fear and stress when being handled by staff and has escalated to defensive aggression when afraid, He has also shown difficulty controlling arousal . Simba will also low growl and bare teeth when interacted with while in the possession of toys. We recommend placement with a New Hope rescue partner who is able to provide an experienced, adult-only foster home. Force-free, reward based training and/or consultation with a professional trainer/behaviorist is highly recommended.
