At 4 years old and 45 lbs of pure love, Ginger Spice is ready to be your whole world!

Ginger Spice is the sweetest, most expressive little velcro girl who loves nothing more than to be with her people. She loves freely giving kisses, though will also happily give them in exchange for belly rubs! She loves face kisses so much that sometimes she might playfully grab at your nose.

She can easily switch from adventure to couch-potato mode at a moment’s notice! She’ll nap the day away while curled up next to you on the couch and then get a burst of energy and zoom around with her favorite toy. She loves nothing more than a toy ball, and it's her signature purple ball that goes with her just about everywhere. She will carry it around the house from room to room and she will even take it with her on walks and gleefully lay down in the grass to play with it! When she's not playing with her ball or napping, she might get the zoomies and play bow at her humans.

Ginger Spice doesn't require much, but she dreams of a forever home that is well stocked with peanut butter. It is easily her favorite food and she will often drool a bit on the kitchen floor in anticipation of her favorite treat.

Ginger Spice is fully house trained and knows her basic commands. She walks great on the leash and is friendly and playful with all people. She can be a little wary of other dogs and may growl to show them she needs space. She would do best as the only dog in the home, or with a family who can help her build her confidence through slow intros at her pace. She does not have any experience with cats.

After being surrendered by her former family, Ginger Spice is working hard on rebuilding her confidence and she is making strides every day. She can be anxious when left alone and needs a patient, caring adopter who understands that she needs time and consistency to build trust and safety.

Ginger Spice is a little girl who has spent too much time looking for the person she can trust with her big emotions. Once she finds that person, the bond will be unbreakable, the love will be immeasurable and the joy she will bring to them will be unfathomable.
