James

Hound/Terrier, Pit Bull · Animal Rescue Fund of the Hamptons, East Hampton, NY

This Alabama gentleman has already been on quite the adventure! James hitched a ride on a transport, thanks to the BISSELL foundation, that flew pups out of harm’s way ahead of Hurricane Isasis, helping make room for more four-legged friends in need. Now he’s traded those stormy skies for safer shores, and we’re mighty glad this little fella landed right here!

When James first arrived, he was a bit bashful, taking his time to figure out his new surroundings. But wouldn’t ya know it, this boy has started to come out of his shell! He’s slowly discovering that the world might not be so scary after all, and it’s been a real treat watching him grow a little braver with each passing day. Turns out, there’s more to this Southern gentleman than meets the eye!

James is still learning the ropes, and he’ll benefit from a family who can give him continued encouragement, patience, and plenty of opportunities to build his confidence. The winds may have blown James out of Alabama, but we’re hoping love will lead him right into your heart here in the Hamptons!
