ABOUT ME: Here’s my best trick: I fall asleep on my back, belly up, paws in the air, totally relaxed. I’m a goofy, gentle guy who loves people, gets along with every dog I meet, and adores my toys. I even share them with my dog roommate, no fuss. I like to stick close to my favorite humans. Still practicing crate and leash skills, but at sharing? I’m a natural.

MY FOSTER SAYS: “Tim has been falling asleep on his back with his stomach up and paws in the air.”

HISTORY

Rescued from Texas; Tim arrived in Brooklyn in late September.

DETAILED PROFILE

Tim Curry has a signature sleeping position: flat on his back, belly to the ceiling, paws in the air, completely unbothered by the world. When he’s awake, he’s a goofy, gentle, entertaining guy with moderate energy and a soft spot for his people, whom he likes to stick close to.

He’s friendly and outgoing with new people and has been comfortable with kids he’s met. Other dogs are a highlight: he gets along with every dog he meets on the street and with his dog housemate at home. He loves toys and, remarkably, shares them, happily playing together without ever getting territorial. His experience with cats isn’t known yet.

He’s house trained and working on crate training and leash manners. More details will come as his foster gets to know him, but the early verdict is clear: Tim is a sweet, easy-to-love companion who plays well with others and naps like nobody’s watching.
